At SFIMO.org, we believe that no child should ever go to bed hungry. While our roots began in Haiti in 2004 with a mission to uplift through education and spiritual guidance, we quickly recognized that learning and growth are impossible without proper nourishment. That’s why our “Provide Food” initiative is a critical part of our mission to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
The Crisis of Hunger in Haiti
Haiti faces some of the highest rates of food insecurity in the Western Hemisphere. For many families, putting food on the table each day is a struggle. Children are especially vulnerable—malnutrition affects their growth, weakens their immune systems, and limits their ability to focus in school.
At SFIMO, we don’t see statistics—we see real lives. That’s why we’ve committed to being part of the solution.
What We Do
Through our Provide Food program, SFIMO:
- Distributes Nutritious Meals to children and families in need, especially in underserved areas
- Partners with Local Communities to identify the most vulnerable and provide consistent food support
- Supports School Feeding Programs so students can focus on learning, not their hunger
- Delivers Emergency Food Aid during crises, natural disasters, or when families face unexpected hardships
