At SFIMO.org, we believe that health is not a privilege—it’s a basic human right. Since our founding in Haiti in 2004, we’ve witnessed how lack of access to healthcare can devastate families and stall the progress of entire communities. That’s why our “Health Is Matter” initiative is a vital part of our mission to bring holistic support to the people we serve.
The Health Crisis in Haiti
In many regions of Haiti, medical facilities are scarce, medicines are expensive, and professional care is out of reach. Preventable illnesses go untreated. Children suffer. Families are left without answers—or hope. These challenges inspired us to act.
Our Mission: Healing with Compassion
SFIMO’s Health Is Matter program is designed to bring life-saving resources and support where they’re needed most. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
- Medical Outreach & Screenings: We organize health checkups and provide basic medical care to underserved areas.
- Access to Medicines & Supplies: Through partnerships and donations, we distribute essential medications and hygiene kits to families in need.
- Health Education: We teach communities about preventive care, hygiene, and nutrition to build long-term wellness.
- Support for the Vulnerable: We prioritize care for children, the elderly, and those with chronic conditions who are most at risk.
Healing the Body, Uplifting the Soul
Our approach is rooted in faith and compassion. We don’t just treat symptoms—we care for people with dignity and love. Whether it’s a child receiving antibiotics for the first time or a parent learning how to care for their family’s health, we know every act of care ripples outward.
Join Us in Making Health Matter
You can help bring healing to those who need it most. Your donation or volunteer time could provide medicine, fund a health clinic, or support a mother in need of care for her child.
Because health isn’t optional—it’s essential.
